Verdict

HENPECKED is at home in soft ground and arrives in good form having won over today’s trip at Hamilton before being headed close home at Ayr last time. She can confirm running at Hamilton with Bahamian C and go in again. Last week’s Leicester winner Stoneboat Bill escapes a penalty having won an apprentice’s race while Paddy's Rock went close at Haydock in July, the last time he encountered soft going. Bit Of A Quirke never looked like catching the winner when runner-up over track and trip recently but is another to consider and Mary Beale may improve now handicapping for the first time.
