In depth

Verdict

She Whispers was very green on her debut and is expected to improve and can land this weak event, Casablanca Minx and Goodbye Girl look to be the main dangers. Richard Hannon's juvenile's invariably step up on their first efforts and She Whispers will not have to improve much to take the honours here. This daughter of Royal Applause finished last of seven behind Shermeen but hadn't a clue in the early stages of that contest. She wasn't beaten too far in the end and the experience will not be lost on her. Casablanca Minx finally got her her in front at Folkestone last time. It was a weak contest but she did win it comfortably and will be hard to keep out of the places here. Goodbye Girl finished fourth in a Redcar seller last time. That was over the seven furlong trip and she will be seen to better effect over this distance. The rest make little appeal and so if She Whispers, as expected improves, she should collect here.
