    Verdict

LADY LAM is the selection in this contest with Musical Script and Annes Rocket offered as alternatives. The daughter of Slip Anchor has been disappointing though ran a reasonable enough race in a classified stakes last time out. The fact there was money around on that occasion could lend us to the belief that those supporters will be chasing their losses this afternoon. Musical Script does bring winning form to the table. The switch up in distance seemed to work the oracle and while a 6lb penalty will not make life easy; connections have found a weak race to try to do so. Annes Rocket has won previously at the course. The entire has won at this time of year previously so it would be folly to write him off just yet. Lady Florence has struggled this season and seems best watched until something more encouraging is visible. Lady Lam is not without negatives though is worthy of another chance.
