Verdict

A tough opening fillies maiden with many of the field having their first runs but hopefully IDIOM can put her experience to use and fend off Silca Conegliano and Louis Girl. The selection hails from Godolphin's second yard that have had a decent start to the season. The stable haven't had a two-year-old winner but I wouldn't let that put you off as their juveniles have been running with credit. Idiom ran very nicely on debut in a maiden that should throw up winners. She looked badly in need of the run and experience and now that she has obtained both can go well here today. Mick Channon's Silca Conegliano is the most experienced filly in the line up and can make that count. She has run some nice races and improved with each run. Her trainer does well with fillies but she looks vulnerable to an improver. Louis Girl is of real interest on debut. She is a very nicely bred type and her stable are going well. Richard Fahey is 9-38 with his two-year-olds in recent seasons so a market check is strongly advised. Lady Platinum Club, Regal Kiss and So Belle are others to note but Idiom gets the nod.
