    Verdict

STARWATCH is a speculative selection against Hill Of Miller and Mellifera. Punters will need to exercise something of a leap of faith but a perusal through last year's form reveals that he has ran well at Windsor on the turf in the past. He has raced up to a mile in the past so the trip should not represent too many ills. Hill Of Miller is still a maiden after 16 starts and while running creditably last time out, we would like to have seen better form on the more esoteric tracks. Mellifera is surely better than that desperate run at Newmarket would suggest. Young Simon is tried in a first time visor this afternoon. He has had fewer chances than most so the market should be monitored accordingly. Interakt takes a massive drop in trip having tried 1m2f at Beverley on her most recent racecourse visit. Difficult to discount too many of these and Starwatch manages to get on our radar for today.
