Verdict

Gone'n'dunnett has been much improved of late but Christine Dunnett's gelding has to race off an 8lb higher mark than when winning at Yarmouth earlier this month and preference is for Pulse, who gets the vote ahead of Chatshow. The last mentioned has been running consistently well on the all-weather this winter but has yet to prove that he is as effective on turf, while Maluti has an absence to overcome and may be best watched on his reappearance. Turibius needs things to drop right for him and of more interest may be the David Nicholls-trained Artie's Lad, who is unexposed after just three starts and may have been let in lightly. Milton Bradley's sprinters always warrant respect and One Way Ticket is no exception but preference is for his former stablemate Pulse, who made an encouraging debut for new connections when behind One Way Ticket in the race that Seven No Trumps won at Warwick last month before landing a banded stakes race at Lingfield last time. Pulse is well treated on his best and, having finally won a race again, may be able to follow up.
