Verdict

Bulwark has an obvious chance on the evidence of his close third behind Sirce at Leicester but the ground was soft that day and under these conditions he looks worth taking on with preference at the odds for Reaching Out, who gets the vote ahead of Savoy Chapel. The last mentioned disappointed on his return to turf at Windsor recently but may be worth another chance on the strength of earlier improved efforts on sand. Paul Cole's Aylmer Road is less exposed than his rivals and may e open to further improvement, while Flag Point should step up on juvenile form but may need more time. The vote then goes to Reaching Out, who made an encouraging return at Warwick last month and should improve now that he tackles a longer distance.
