      Verdict

Mr Whizz, Saucy and Kernel Dowery look the three to concentrate on in this open finale and the confident vote is given to Mr Whizz. The selection won well last time when beating Ulshaw and although he has a penalty for that win he again has conditions to suit and will be hard to beat. Saucy rates the main danger as he won with plenty in hand when beating Lady Taverner last time. However he now looks to be on a high enough mark and for that reason he is opposed. Kernel Dowery is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Be Wise Girl but that form has since been let down and he will need to improve to win off this mark. Of the remainder Bundaberg is from a yard that does well in these types of events and looks to be on a handy mark but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Mr Whizz.
