        Verdict

        The three to look out for here are Blackmail, Motu and Pheckless with the vote going to the last named. Pheckless has won twice this winter at Lingfield on the all-weather and although a little in and out since, his most recent run showed that there is still more to come and with the yard in better form he can go close. Recent winner Blackmail has to be short-listed. His win at Lingfield was a positive performance winning well by nine lengths. A repeat of that will see him go close but the rise in the weights may well take its toll. Motu ran on well on his latest run. He was held up and was nearest at the finish and a more positive ride will see him run well. But for the winner we return to Pheckless.
