In depth

Verdict

WALK IN MARRAKESH started favourite for her debut on soft ground at Haydock but, though battling on strongly, she couldn’t quite get past Aleneva and was beaten a short-head. Today’s extra furlong is certain to suit and she should go one better. Frasard is another who will be suited by this trip having overcome greenness to stay on nicely over 6f at Carlisle. Breguet Man found 6f at Chester too sharp but this is a very much stiffer test. The remainder with experience may struggle but Amy Murphy’s newcomer Impression should be ideally suited by the trip.
