Verdict

A wide open contest rounds of the card and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Online Investor,Soaked, Tommy Smith and Brigadier Monty and the tentative vote goes to Online Investor. The selection was a fair forth behind Molotov last time out in a similar race and off the same mark here and from a good draw he will be hard to beat. Soaked rates the main danger on his best form but he is best when allowed to dominate and he is not sure to be allowed to do that in this big field. He would also not want much rain and at likely odds he looks apposable. Tommy Smith is another worthy of respect he remains on a fair mark and has definite place claims but he is far from consistent so can not be backed with any confidence. Brigadier Monty is another that could go well he to has dropped to a handy mark and a reproduction of his latest third behind Hout Bay would see him go close. Of the remainder Obe One is another from a yard in form and could go well at a price but in a race that throws up more questions than answers and where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Online Investor.
