Verdict

King's Account has obvious claims and is the one to beat, with Red Rudy, Askwith and Paparaazi expected to slug it out for the places. Although Mark Johnston's team are not exactly firing on all cylinders at present, it is still hard to escape the claims of King's Account who should at last put matters right, having found one too good in all three outings to date. The son of King Of Kings has been tried on soft ground but ran his best race yet on faster conditions last time at Chepstow despite not being at ease on the undulating course. He is now qualified for nurseries and is down to run in such an event at Ayr this weekend, but has a better chance in this company. Red Rudy is improving but shaped as though this trip stretched his stamina at Thirsk last time, while Askwith in contrast stayed on at the same track. Paparaazi should be more than capable of landing a maiden in time as well, but they all have it to do to stop King's Account from obliging.
