In depth

Verdict

There is not a lot between the three main contenders Night Sight, Red Forest and Vicious Prince but a tentative vote goes to the last named. A winner of a competitive handicap at Newcastle last time out Vicious Prince still looks well handicapped on his old form and can follow up. He had had a long spell out of the winners enclosure prior to his latest outing and with his confidence boosted can run well again. Night Sight finished second to Jake Black at Pontefract last time out and ran with great credit that day. Another performance like that will see him go close. Red Forest is another worthy of mention after his promising second of fifteen at Thirsk so is one to note in the market. But for the winer we return to Vicious Prince.
