Unless the going comes up soft, high numbers are at a disadvantage so Highland Reel, who has dropped to his lowest ever mark and just scrapes into the handicap, may struggle to get a decent pitch. He's been looking as though a stiff mile would suit and with an inside berth looks to have as good a chance as any in an open contest.
