In depth

Verdict

Casterossa is given the nod in a wide open finale, Parc aux Boules and My Girl Pearl are two of many dangers. The selection looked to have taken advantage of a dropping handicap mark over course and distance last time, but in the end was just run out of it by Graze On. Rated 72 at one stage, she still looks on a very handy mark and can go one better this afternoon. Parc Aux Boules hit winning form on the all-weather at Lingfield last time beating some modest rivals. He has shown decent enough form on the turf as well and has to be considered for each-way purposes. My Girl Pearl was successful at Salisbury in August and wasn't disgraced last time when going down by just a length to Kalistas Pride. She is still on a fair mark and should be involved in the finish. Arian's Lad is another worthy of respect, but Casterossa has as good achance as any and gets the vote.
