        Verdict

        It's over two years since Celestial Dancer ran on Turf and she's yet to win a race of any description. EASTERN MAGIC (NAP) was beaten a short-head in this a year ago from a 5lb higher mark. He wasn't running well over hurdles when last seen in November but he's won over a longer trip here in the past and can go one better than last year. Captain George has won two minor handicaps at Wolverhampton and has no problem with the trip though he's only been placed once in nine starts on Turf. Shalambar won a claimer over this trip on Polytrack in January and is on a 10lb lower mark back on Turf as he's only won once in 14 starts. Irish raider Alert has shown a glimmer of form at Dundalk recently and looks best of the remainder.
