In depth

Verdict

Heaven is our pick with Croeso Bach and Pennyspider the alternatives. The selection went into many notebooks when an unlucky in running second at Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago. Compensation was gained next time out and Peter Makin's charge still appears on the upgrade. Croeso Bach has proved a moneyspinner to connections. Expect plenty of use of her early on in the race. Pennyspider made all to win a race at this track on soft going. Conditions will be different here. Best One has proved the model of consistency this term and is sure to run another solid race here. Blessed Place is a regular in sprints of this nature. Jucebabe has won previously at Bath albeit a couple of seasons ago. Talcen Gwyn is watched on seasonal reappearance. Plenty of old friends are here but we will go with potential on this occasion and Heaven is our selection in the nightcap.
