    Verdict

Paddy Bear is selected on the basis that he should improve quite a bit for his racecourse debut. Third on that occasion, he was very green throughout the early stages on his debut while also being unsuited by the fact he raced away from the main group. All things considered it was a very satisfactory racecourse debut. The experienced What A Fella was soundly beaten at Ayr on Monday on his first attempt at six furlongs. It could well have been that he failed to stay the trip there and this drop back to the minimum trip should be more to his liking, presuming he is none the worse for Monday's outing. The market will provide the most reliable guide to Asakusa chances, a Royal Applause filly. Susie Quw has two lengths to make up on What A Fella on what was her first racecourse outing. Royal Muwasim drops back to five furlongs after two efforts over six. While she rates consideration given connections, it is hard to draw positives from those appearances.
