In depth

Verdict

This looks a good opportunity for Idealistic to end a run of seconditus, with Turn n' Burn and Sovietta the likely dangers. Luca Cumani's filly has come up against two decent types in Goslar and Light Of Morn on her last two outings, and hasn't been beaten far. There appears to be nothing of their calibre in today's contest and this daughter of Unfawain can gain a deserved first victory. Turn n' Burn finished a close up third behind Fortune's Princess at Pontefract last time and must figure in the finish here, although Cumani's Mandatum was second in the contest, so the Italian should know how he stands. Sovietta should be best of the others having shown promise on her Nottingham debut last month. so not the strongest of contest and Idealistic is a confident choice.
