In depth

Verdict

ISOBAR gets the vote in a tight little handicap. Luca Cumani's colt has top-weight to carry but he was well-backed in the morning ahead of his handicap bow at Folkestone. He ran well and although the winner has disappointed since, the feeling is that it's solid form for the track and with the longer trip in his favour this stoutly-bred colt can gain a first success. Tigress Hill looks a tad slow but her mark of 67 gives her room to breathe, whilst Chasse Coeur's Kempton run has been franked by the winner and she is out of a 14 furlong winning dam so this longer trip should help. Prickles is modest, and a more obvious player is Jewellery although her form so far looks on the weak side of poor.
