Silk Bounty should come on for a debut run after remaining prominent for much of the race before weakening in the final furlong at Wolverhampton. A switch to the turf and a furlong less to travel may see the required improvement from James Given's colt. Pearl Arch was green on his first outing at Ffos Las but is another who may benefit for experience, whilst Geordie Joe is sure to prove popular with trackside punters hoping to land a win at a bigger price, but he has a lot to find. Chagal is heading the right way and has experience at the course but preference is for CALYPSO MAGIC. He has come close to securing wins in his last two runs and Paul Hanagan is a positive jockey booking. Two newcomers could put up the biggest challenges. Somerset Island has decent pedigree but may be better over a further trip as a three-year-old and Tasfeya looks dangerous related to plenty of winners over this distance.
