In depth

Verdict

Mantou, a winner for Michael Bell on the Flat, showed his inexperience when just getting up at Catterick and will have come on a bundle for the run. New Street was a decent and progressive handicapper on the level for Richard Fahey though his two victories came on very fast ground. His trainer is also responsible for Jazzy Lady, the most experienced of these over timber but disappointing in her last two starts. New Tarabela was consistent on the Flat for James Tate but failed to win and made too many mistakes on his debut over hurdles at Sandown. SEBASTIAN BEACH, a dual winner for Richard Hannon, couldn't handle Souriyan at Exeter but the remainder were beaten a long way and with further improvement to come he can go one better.
