In depth

Verdict

Chabrimal Minster gets the confident vote here with Alcopop and Mioche d'Estruval rating the main dangers. The selection won with plenty in hand last time out when beating Ironside and with conditions again in his favour he is taken to defy the handicapper. Alcopop rates the main danger on his latest third behind Windsor Boy but although he travels well in his races he often finds less than expected off the bridle and for that reason he is overlooked. Mioche d'Estruval was a fair second behind De Blanc last time and is another that could go well but he looks weighted up to his best and looks vulnerable off this mark. Of the remainder Bunkum is game and consistent and is sure to run his race and he would have definite place claims if the first time tongue tie brought about some improvement but in a race where few can be fancied for the winner we return to Chabrimal Minster.
