In depth

Verdict

Mr Multifix still had every chance when taking a tumble on his chase debut and he gets the nod ahead of Mongorno and Lockstockandbarrel. A course winner in the past, Liam Lennon's son of Accordion is bred to make up into a decent chaser and he still looked to hold every chance when falling at this track on his chasing debut. Based on his hurdles form this trip will suit and he looks the best of a moderate bunch. Lockstockandbarrel ran well on his chasing debut when second behind Gypsy George but he was fairly well held at the line and it remains to be seen whether this drop in trip will play to his strengths. Mongorno disappointed when he was last seen at Carlisle and he hasn't really produced it on the track since coming across from France. Border Quaich is one to keep an eye on in the betting returning from a lengthy absence, whilst at a price Nasrha could run into a place at a price. An open race, but Mr Multifix could be the one to side with.
