In depth

Verdict

Not too much form to go on and, as ever in this type of contest, the market will provide a solid guide but Dobbiesgardenworld sets a fair standard and should prove hard to beat. Lennie Lungo's charge created a strong impression when justifying heavy support to make a winning debut at Newcastle last month. The son of Great Marquess made smooth headway to lead over 2f out and had plenty in hand at the finish. Sure to have improved for the experience, the six-year-old is fancied to follow up. Ex-Irish performer The Joker showed the benefit of his debut when a convincing winner in similar company at Downpatrick and can only progress but may have to settle for minor honours on this occasion. Great Chaos is an interesting newcomer by Great Commotion out of a High Estate mare and should be closely monitored in the betting exchanges.
