Verdict

LIDAR was very disappointing when finishing behind Lucky Landing at Doncaster two runs ago but showed his true colours when winning easily at Haydock earlier this month. A pair of blinkers look to have ironed out his quirks and he's fancied to follow up here as Newbury faller Pacha Du Polder hasn't conclusively proved he stays this far, though is normally a good jumper. Lancetto has had his limitations exposed recently while Pure Faith doesn't often find much off the bridle and Rival D'Estruval is thrown in at the deep end on his chasing bow.
