      Verdict

      JONNY DELTA was hurdling during the winter and won at Musselburgh. He returned to the Flat with a fine run at Musselburgh and has won here and over further on fast ground so gets the vote. Hayward Field didn't run as a juvenile and had just five starts for Roger Varian last year, all over shorter but staying on each time. Star Glitter showed potential for John Oxx and looked in need of a stamina test over 1m4f at Catterick last month. He was engaged at Hamilton yesterday so that result should be monitored but Magistral is still looking high in the weights. The consistent Nanny Makfi has changed stables and is well enough treated to make her presence felt if ready.
