Verdict

Apparition had shown potential in maidens before reappearing with a close third in a Navan handicap where he led a couple of furlongs out until headed in the closing stages. He should make a bold bid but ACT OF VALOUR gets the nod after a very promising reappearance on the same track where he looked in need of the run but only faded close home. Buffalo Blues was a little bit unlucky in-running over slightly further at Limerick and should get into the action while Time Dee wasn't beaten far over a mile at Gowran and, if ridden with more restraint, should have no problems lasting out the extra.
