In depth

Verdict

Tandava, Cotty's Rock and Aberdare are three against the field in this novices hurdle and the vote goes to Tandava. The selection has been in fair form of late without winning but was a good second behind Caraman last time out and if he runs up to that mark here he will be hard to beat. Cotty's Rock rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Wing Commander. However his penalty may just find him out and for that reason he is opposed. Aberdare is another worthy of respect she was a fair third behind Florida Dream last time out and is sure to improve for the step up in trip but this looks more competitive and for that reason she is passed over. Mazzareme was a fair fourth behind Indy Mood last time and is another with place claims but he looks very one paced and may be seen to a better effect over a longer trip. Of the remainder Lampion Du Bost is from a shrewd yard and is sure to strip fitter here than for his first run of the season so he is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Tandava.
