Verdict

Bay Magic has the most experience over fences but has been well below form since landing a weak event at Hexham in November while Be Upstanding was far from fluent on his chase debut last month. It would be no surprise if this went to either of the two newcomers in the field. Although there is little to seperate them on their hurdling form and Falchion will improve for his recent return, marginal preference is for The Rile. Lennie Lungo's charge handles the ground and comes here in top form having been an impressive winner over hurdles at Wetherby last time so may be worth chancing to make a winning start to his chasing career.
