In depth

Verdict

Jim Best's stable is going well and SUDDEN LIGHT stepped up on her debut effort when third at Newton Abbot in July. She gets 7lb here from Beattie Green, who steps up in distance but didn't do a lot wrong when runner-up under a penalty at Fontwell last time and won't be far away again. Russie With Love's second at Exeter in April was her best effort so far and other to consider include newcomers Fenney Mill and Sands Of Vatersay, the former being by Presenting and out of a winning bumper and hurdler.
