Verdict

Queen's Sargent never figured on debut at Pontefract but he should do better over this extra furlong, though this features some nicely-bred newcomers who make more appeal. Mashaheer is a 110,000gns colt by Dutch Art and Move Over cost exactly the same amount and is a brother to Darkroom Angel, who has won twice over 1m2f this year. He’s preferred to Richard Hannon’s other runner, Royal Household. ZAMAN is out of a mare that won over this trip as a juvenile and went on to score three times over 7f as a three-year-old. It will be a surprise if he doesn’t know what’s required today.
