This Listed contest revolves around Crystal Zvezda. She was massively impressive in a Listed contest at Newbury as a result of which she was a strong fancy for The Oaks. However, Richard Hughes reported that day that she was beaten after a furlong and eventually tailed off to the tune of nearly 50 lengths. A first-time hood is applied now and it all depends which version of the Stoute filly shows up. PAMONA (NAP) was a staying-on third when Crystal Zvezda scored at Newbury and followed up with another very solid effort when third behind Curvy in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot. She's a progressive filly and rates the more solid option dropped back into Listed company. French Dressing displayed a nice turn of foot to land an Ascot maiden on debut in May and she has to be of interest with John Gosden moving her straight into Listed grade, whilst Sound Reflection looks best of the four-year-olds.
