Plenty of fancied horses have won this in the last 10 years with only one winner returning at double-figure odds. Richard Pankhurst boasts the highest rating having won the Chesham at last year's Royal Ascot but hasn't raced since and three-year-olds don't have a great record in this race. Tupi beat Bossy Guest in Listed company at Newmarket last month but a chance is taken on one of the older brigade in GLORY AWAITS. Kevin Ryan's charge has faced a couple of stiff tasks since finishing second in the Doncaster Mile and no longer carries a penalty for last year's Group 2 win in Turkey. Short Squeeze is not the most reliable but Heaven's Guest ran well in the Group 2 Hungerford at Newbury last week having won a hot handicap at Ascot earlier while So Beloved and Tanzeel arrive on the back of victories in competitive handicaps at Goodwood and this track respectively.
