Verdict

Ayr runner-up Addis Ababa gets a change of headgear but the ground is a worry for him and Archie Perkins wouldn’t want any further rain bidding for a hat-trick after winning easily at Beverley last week. But it was soft going when GHALIB (NAP) beat the re-opposing Sputnik Planum at Hamilton recently having slipped down the weights since last successful. He remains on a winning mark despite carrying 4lb extra and Rebecca Bastiman’s charge should go close again. Lord Of The Rock won at Haydock in April on his return to the Flat and could go well while Swift Emperor has been in better form lately but Pioneering is upped in class.
