      In depth

      Verdict

In Space should be better for his outing at Newmarket, while Serieux will be happier at this level, rather than the Group three company he kept at Newbury. After a promising run on his re-appearance, Historic Treble went off favourite for a competitive handicap at Sandown, but he left the impression he didn't stay that day, and he will be better off over this shorter trip. Boundless Prospect, tackling handicapper's for the first time, is open to improvement, but will need to, while the tough Takes Tutu, finally got off the mark on turf after several promising efforts. Raised 3lb for that win, he is sure to take a lot of beating off his new mark, but preference is for Nemo Fugat, who was given the race at Newmarket in the steward's room. The runner-up in that event Northern Desert, went on to finish an unlucky second at Chester, off a mark of 90, which suggest's Nemo Fugat could be well treated here off 89. Zandicular, has the beating of the selection on a line through Northern Desert, but that victory at Lingfield, was on bottomless ground, which didn't suit Northern Desert. Zandicular has confirmed his well being this term with a sound effort at Newmarket and he could well prove to be the main danger.
