Verdict

ADMIRALTY ARCH was sent to Chantilly for his debut but couldn't go the early pace over the minimum trip. The extra furlong looks just what's required and he can land this. Gulliver caught the eye with a late surge at Newmarket and will have come on greatly for the experience but the main threat may come from a newcomer. Masham Star is a half-brother to a couple of winners while the selection's stable companion Tafaakhor cost 190,000gns and is out of a winning sprinter. Thornton is from the first crop of the July Cup winner Mayson and is definitely one to keep an eye on.
