In depth

Verdict

We are running out of superlatives to highlight the ability of Stuart Williams when placing his horses, so it seems simple enough to say that Strangely Brown, as a horse that is chasing a hat-trick, has every chance of doing punters another favour off a mark of 71. The likes of Magic Combination and Fourth Dimension are respected but have plenty on at the weights, so the biggest threat may come from the in-form Sualda, who has the ability to see out this trip and will have no problems with the ground. He was a very game winner here last month and the market should be monitored very carefully where he is concerned. Jeepstar is another to bear in mind as he arrives here in good form. However, like a few of the rest, he has a little to prove regarding the trip and looks opposable on balance. Conversely, Strangely Brown has done nothing but improve since he was upped in trip and, after comfortably holding some useful opponents at Sandown last time, he is taken to continue on his upwards curve while his stable are in such obvious good form.
