A number of top stables are represented here. Harcourt showed promise on his debut at Newmarket and is respected. Kaiser should appreciate this trip as a juvenile and offspring of Barathea usually like to get their toes in. The well-related Kings Topic has looked backward so far. San Hernando, whose dam is a half-sister to Storming Home, is bred to stay well in time. Shredded, one of two John Gosden runners is interesting. By Diesis, his dam is a half-sister to Ormonde Stakes winner, Per Quod, and from the same family as Alleged. Skibereen, quite well-related, looks to be the Gosden second-choice. Smart John is a likeable individual, has bags of scope but looked to need time at Haydock. Triwan has shown little so far. Devant showed some promise on his Sandown debut but would need to step up on that. It would be no surprise to see Fenella's Link, also quite well related, go well on her British debut (she has run once in Germany). Sacred Love also has likeable breeding, being by Barathea out of a Rainbow Quest mare. It is an interesting race, and one that should produce a number of future winners. The market could provide some clues but Fenella's Link, reported to be very well, can make her experience pay and is the TEAMtalk selection.
