Verdict

Harbour Patrol is on a good mark but is hardly one to rely on while Magic Mirror looks a better horse on the all-weather. Penelope Pitstop has yet to get her head in front in 33 attempts and doesn’t seem poised to break her duck, John Caesar is also on a long losing run and Hymn For The Dudes will have to step up considerably for his new yard to take this. In a weak contest, CLEVER DIVYA could be the answer. She is lightly raced for a four-year-old and could have more improvement in her than most of these. She showed plenty of stamina when staying on to win at Southwell in December, and her pedigree suggests she will be suited by the step up to a mile. Cainhoe Star has been getting closer to his first win and might have won with a clearer run at Lingfield last time so can make the frame.
