Verdict

Wild Desert bolted up over a slightly longer trip at Warwick last week and will take some stopping if in the same mood here, despite the penalty. But consistency isn't his strong point and we fancy the potentially well-treated SHERMAN MCCOY to have his measure in receipt of 8lb. The latter was a good third at Salisbury earlier this month and should strip fitter here. Mediterranean Sea prefers the Fibresand and Green To Gold is better over jumps nowadays while Eanans Bay will be carrying 6lb more than his allotted weight.
