Verdict

If back to anywhere near her best then Lucky Pipit has to have a great chance, with Three Secrets and Malvern Lights rated the biggest dangers. The selection looked smart when winning a Listed race and Sandown last year and following that with a third in the Group 2 May Hill Stakes. She was slightly below par last time but had begun the season with a very good fifth in the Nell Gwyn Stakes and a return to that level of form should see her home today. Surf The Net won on her debut but it's been a case of downhill since then. Malvern Light left her previous two runs behind when finishing a very good third to the useful Peeress at Newmarket last time and she has to be given a solid chance, but Tregenna is well-related but will be doing well to score at the first time of asking in this Conditions event. Once again, then, Lucky Pipit gets the call.
