Verdict

HE'S INVINCIBLE may be able to provide the in-form Brian Meehan with another winner by getting the better of Bell's Ocean and Captain Clint. Brian Meehan's stable is in red-hot form at present so it's reasonable to expect He's Invincible to be in top form for his first start since disappointing at Kempton at the start of June. This represents a marked drop in class, he has something in hand at the weights, should cope with the ground and be hard to beat. Avonvalley could struggle to cope with this marked step up in trip on her first run for George Baker and of more interest is Southwell winner Bell's Ocean who is capable of getting involved on the pick of her form. Captain Clint has something to find on the figures but may be suited by the drop back in trip on this ground whereas Denton Ryal was disappointing last time and has something to prove in a race that can go to He's Invincible.
