In depth

Verdict

A tricky end to proceedings with useful chasers Fairoak Lad and Qulinton heading the weights. Knighton Combe also has a decent record over the larger obstacles while Mister Chancer wouldn't be without a chance on his best form. AMBROSE PRINCESS was second over a longer trip at Stratford at the start of the month and appears to be on a decent mark at present. Michael Scudamore's tough mare has decent claims in this and gets the nod. Saticon returned to winning ways over 2m4f here last time and is another to consider while Merrydown was second at Wetherby. This may be a bit far for Marju King, however, while Betavix lacks a recent run though would be interesting if attracting market support.
