In depth

Verdict

This looks quite competitive and Stuccodor might struggle to complete the hat-trick upped in grade. Amirr only won a maiden to give Andrew Thornton a winning send-off at Uttoxeter earlier this month but looks well treated on a mark of 111 given that victory should have boosted his confidence. Leapaway, by comparison, still looks a few pounds too high but has place claims again. Huntingdon scorer Cosmic King may have more to offer and Stole The Show has settled in quickly into new surroundings. Idder wasn’t far behind the latter at Southwell and is another to consider but this represents a drop in class for Ian Williams’ mare MIDTECH VALENTINE, who will like the track and going so gets the nod.
