Verdict

Newton Geronimo ran a nice race on his comeback at Stratford, finishing more than lengths ahead of Voix D'Eau. Curious Carlos has won a couple of novice events over 2m but stayed this longer trip over hurdles and doesn’t look badly handicapped. BALLINURE gets 5lb, however, and beat a decent sort over hurdles at Towcester last month. He’s had a wind operation since and that may have brought about further improvement. Action Replay has scope but Call To Order disappointed over fences last year. Marquis Of Carabas stopped quickly at Market Rasen on Friday.
