In depth

Verdict

Johnny Og had become disappointing under Rules before switching to point-to-points but another winning pointer, Epic Warrior, showed promise on his debut under Rules in a bumper. Sky Watch and Primo Capitano have hinted at ability while Neville was placed over this trip at Kempton in November and didn't take to fences earlier this year. MONT CHOISY (NAP) has plenty of scope and won a bumper here in June before only finding a useful novice too good on his debut over hurdles at Newton Abbot - he looks the one to beat.
