Verdict

Kalondra justified good market support when breaking his maiden over course and distance last time and looks on the improve. He could progress quite considerably if proving more amenable to restraint but the bare bones of his form afford him strong claims here anyway. Mere Anarchy has failed to sparkle the last twice, whilst Novemberstorm has shown some ability in both point-to-point and bumper company and now faces a hurdle for the first time in public. He has been partnered by the trainer's son the last twice but Sam deserts him here to partner TRAFALGAR ROCK (NAP). Very consistent on the Flat for Mark Johnston, the Mount Nelson gelding was most impressive in scoring on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter and looks an exciting addition to the Dr Newland string for the current campaign.
