Verdict

A number of point-to-point performers are attempting to get off the mark under Rules so it could pay to stick with the more precocious pedigrees and it is to BET LYNCH that we turn. Philip Hobbs' four-year-old has not pulled up any trees in her career so far but this isn't a strong race and the trainer is very likely to have had it in mind. Go Annie looks to be the biggest threat if she can show anything like the form she demonstrated at Newbury in a junior bumper. She does have to defy a near seven month absence after flopping at Taunton although Timmy Murphy is an eye-catching booking. Applause For Amy is respected from a yard that do well with their mares and fillies, whilst Queen Of The West, a winner over three miles at Necarne is one to note for the future.
