In depth

Verdict

Mr Caffrey won here and at Stratford last summer and has found only one too good in two starts since returning from a break. However, he’s gone up 5lb since his run at Bangor so STARCROSSED (NAP) gets the nod. He’s proved suited by this sort of trip recently despite winning over 2m at Huntingdon in February. Redemption Song was beaten by Majestic Moll at Doncaster in December but is 5lb better off and has wind surgery so there may not be much to choose between the pair today. Highbury High and Exitas are probably better over fences.
